Reading for 03/03/06: /Reading Across Cultures/

Hi Culture Club:

Your reading for next week Friday are excerpts you can choose from a book 0n teaching multicultural literature in the English classroom, called /Reading Across Cultures/ and edited by T. Rogers and A.O. Solter.

You can read the excerpts by accessing the book through the GMU Library Catalog. Put /Reading Across Cultures/ under "Title" and "Electronic Book" will come up. Click on "Electronic Book" and you can "check out" the book or "view" it.

Please read the Introduction. Then choose one of the chapters in the first section "Classroom Stories" to read and give a summary and discussion (your own opinion about) on the blog.
